Ingredients
1 whole Bangus (milk fish)
like 4-6 PCs
1 PC bay leaf
1/2 cup white cane vinegar
1/2 tbsp whole peppercorn
1 tbsp sliced ginger
sprinkle with 1/2 tbsp kosher
salt
1 tbsp oil
3 cloves crushed garlic
1/4 cup sliced sweet onion or
shallots
Instructions
1 Put everything in a pot except vegetables and chillies. Let us
boil. Once it’s boiling lower the temp let it simmer for 6 to 8
minutes. Do not cover the pot. Make sure your fish is covered
in liquid. Use a wider circumference pot so all the fish are flat
on the pot. When it’s boiling if you are using eggplant you
can add it when you simmer if you are using bitter gourd do
not over cook it. Add the chillies or jalapeños on top when
cook.
